Tackling graffiti, hooning, and anti-social vehicle behaviour through better CCTV coverage, a new graffiti removal by-law for commercial properties, and stronger partnerships with Tasmania Police, Crime Stoppers, and Neighbourhood Watch.

How the Election Works

The Kingborough Council election takes place in October 2026. Voting in Tasmanian local government elections is compulsory for all enrolled residents. The election is conducted entirely by postal vote over a 21-day period — your ballot paper will arrive in the mail and must be returned before the closing date.
